‘There is little to fear but fear itself,’ as the old saying goes, but what if you’re really scared not of failing but of succeeding in turning into a serious entrepreneur? Entering into any kind of an enterprise has its own sets of risks and rewards, although a lot of people would never admit that making it is a risk that they are not prepared to take. Success does not only mean fortune and celebrity ; it also brings with it responsibility and pressure to be consistent.
No one is Perfect
There are people who argue that they want perfection before success, and that sounds too much like an excuse to be convincing, particularly if they don’t set the criteria for what perfection means, nor do they set a cutoff point to realize it. Lots of top earning marketers have attained their goals without this’perfection’, and saying moral ascendancy over them will not put food on your table.
Everyone will have their good days and bad days, and it’s time to tell yourself that it’s okay to make mistakes. If a client or buyer makes reasonable complaints, make amends and correct it. Pay attention to their feedback, and apply it to your later projects. That is one extra step to’perfection’ that you could not make if you had not put your product out there in the 1st place.
Time to Move On
Naturally it’s part and parcel of being a top marketing entrepreneurs to learn as much as you can about your craft and to develop your skill, but if everybody spent all their time studying to be something, there will be no one left to do the genuine work. Experience is also the best teacher ; how will you know if your product is up to standards, if you do not try it out in the market?
The truth is, academic study is a comfort area that some people do not wish to move out from. You don’t need to stop improving once your product hits the market. In fact, that is’s the simplest way to discover what improvements you need to make.
A serious entrepreneur should, , be results-oriented : a customer or customer would be happier to see a project that is 80% ok, than not see a 100% perfect one.
It’s been Done Before
How many products have you seen on the market which has been about for some time and will all of a sudden have adverts that claims’NEW AND IMPROVED’? Businesses that work are ready to take the chance of small successes to get their feet wet and work their way up the market. At the end of the day, the only real way to become a successful entrepreneurs is to do something. Remember that sloppy success beats perfect mediocrity.
